General Terms And Conditions of Business

General Conditions
  1. All these conditions shall apply to all orders placed with Magnum House Ltd. No other conditions or modifications to this agreement shall be binding unless confirmed in writing by Magnum House Ltd.
  2. All goods are offered subject to availability and any quotation given is an invitation to treat.
  3. We cannot be held responsible for late delivery by our suppliers.
  4. Goods are not supplied on a sale or return basis, unless otherwise agreed.
Price
  1. All prices quoted are in pounds sterling and are inclusive of 17.5% VAT.
  2. Trade prices are quoted exclusive of VAT.
  3. Magnum House Ltd reserves the right to alter prices without notice.
  4. All prices on the website are subject to change without notice.
  5. Processing payment by cheque will take 7 working days to clear.
Payment Methods
  1. We accept payment by cheque and postal orders.
  2. All cheques should be made payable to Magnum House Ltd.
Delivery
  1. All our products for delivery to the UK mainland are shipped by NLC Logistics Ltd.
  2. Delivery dates are estimates and are not to be construed as terms essential or otherwise.
  3. The basic UK delivery charge is £10.00 per order up to 20kg in weight.
  4. For delivery to Europe and the rest of the world, delivery charges are quoted prior to acceptance of order.
  5. Once payment has been processed, delivery is a next day service.
  6. In the unlikely event of damage or loss in transit, all orders are insured up to £75.00. For anything over this amount there will be an additional surcharge of £3.00 per consignment.
  7. All transit damage or loss must be reported to us within 7 days.
Receipt of Goods
All goods must be signed for on receipt. Any damages or shortages of goods should be marked on the delivery note or notified to Magnum House within 48 hours of delivery.
Title of Goods
  1. Magnum House will retain ownership of the goods until the customer has paid Magnum House in full for the goods.
  2. Risk in the goods shall pass to the customer upon delivery.
Satisfaction
We will either refund your money or replace any wines that do not meet your satisfaction.

Force Majeure
Magnum House Ltd shall not be liable for any breakdown or failure to fulfill any terms of any transaction as a result of a force majeure ie any circumstances which are not within the company's reasonable control.
